Child therapy is almost the same as therapy for adults. It was designed for children, in order to help them talk about their feelings and thoughts. The focus is mainly on solving issues, finding solutions and understanding their feelings.
The big difference between these two types of therapy is that with children, the therapist needs to make sure they understand what is happening and they are comfortable talking about their problems.
Among the issues that can affect children are divorces, bullying, trauma of all kinds, sexual, physical and emotional abuse, or even mental illness.
At VVFC, we offer child therapy services so feel free to get in touch with our therapist for more details.
