Usually, separation anxiety refers to persons, mostly children, who fear the loss of an attachment figure. The separation anxiety is given by the level of those feelings which makes one too worried or facing excessive distress when separating from home, for instance.

Since separation anxiety can mostly seen at children under the age of 12, treatments include his parents’ presence.

Therefore, children suffering from separation anxiety must feel safety around his family, spend more time with the parents, brothers or anyone who’s part of the extended family.

At the same time, parents must hide their own anxieties and problems in from of the child since this may deepen the kid’s anxiety.
